In the event “Words of Wisdom” held in Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Mrs. Shinjini Kumar, CEO Paytm, was the main speaker. She imparted some of her knowledge of the e-commerce and fintech (Financial Technology) industries, to the students. She, then gave the students a brief introduction about the advantages of debit and credit cards and explained how Paytm would simplify those transactions.
Mrs. Shinjini with the help of some student volunteers demonstrated some of the advanced features of the Paytm application, such as sharing bill payments and money transfer from one customer to another. She also explained the various identification and verification steps taken by Paytm to secure its customers account.
Mrs. Shinjini also explained the various processes implemented by paytm to make merchant revenue more efficient and safer. She also explained how Paytm would save time on payments, be more convenient and discussed how Paytm collects the customer’s data in order to make the payments easier and give better offers by viewing the customer’s past payments.
Paytm is an e-commerce company which was started in 2010.The firm is owned by One Communications. The firm offers online bill payment, mobile recharging and other e-commerce facilities. Paytm is one of the giants in its category.
