NSS wing of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in association with NCC and Rotaract organized the Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26 July 2017 to commemorate the victory of the Indian Army in Kargil war in the year 1999.
Around 50 volunteers gathered to mark the day and as a fundamental responsibility, they paid tribute to soldiers of the Indian Army who fought and sacrificed their precious life to protect the country in the war against Pakistan.
The guest speaker for the day was Hon. Secretary of Mythic Society, Sri. V Nagaraj who gave a brief insight of how Kargil war was fought by our soldiers to reclaim the Indian land which was occupied by Pakistan, and their commitment to the nation and army.
