Jain (Deemed-to-be University)'s NSS wing of School of Sciences conducted an outreach program to an NGO situated at Kengeri called 'People for Animals' (PFA) from 17 November to 20 November 2017.
PFA is a non-profit organization which is into urban wildlife conservation wherein they rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife animals and release them back into the wild. The members and doctors at PFA namely Ms. Samhita, Ms. Samantha, Mr. Keerthan, and other vets sensitized the students about conservation and the environment and also provided a vast insight into their activities.
The students were asked to take an oath which reminds them of their responsibility towards conservation of the environment and they were also a part of an activity where a kite was released into the wild. The students were highly benefitted from the visit which enlightened them about the wildlife and the importance of environment protection.
