Jain (Deemed-to-be University)'s NSS wing of the School of Sciences conducted a 'Photo Exhibition' cum Competition for the UG students of all streams on 15 December 2017 and the theme of the event given was 'Bengaluru Today.'
The exhibition was curated by Thomas Abraham, a conceptual photographer and was inaugurated by Mr. Don Caiero, Co-ordinator of the Department of Forensic Science and Dr. Aarthi Sudharshan, HOD, Mathematics.
During the event, 25 top photographs were displayed along with the caption out of 192 photographs received. The students were allowed to vote for the best photograph. The first place was bagged by Ms. Rachana Ananth of the second year Life Sciences, and the second and third place grabbed by Vyshnav and Nandagopal from first year Forensic Science respectively. The prizes were distributed by Dr. Veena Nagraj, HOD, Chemistry.
