Postgraduate Department of English, School of Graduate Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), launched Yuva 2016 – an intercollegiate fest, which included both curricular and extracurricular events. It provided a platform for students of postgraduate courses to showcase their talent. The fest explored through debates and discussions, the emerging areas in English, Forensic Science, and Psychology. Interesting topics like “The use of Forensic Science in Detective Fiction” and “Literature in Psychology and Psychology in Literature” were deliberated upon during the fest. Competitions like poetry recitation, cartooning, and cooking without fire encouraged the students to actively participate in the fest.
