Jain (Deemed-to-be University) “Connect to Careers” has begun its year 2020 journey, offering a platform for the large pool of students to connect with major global brands seeking a talented workforce. The event just concluded its first leg of the season on a successful note.
Hosted at Jain College of Engineering campus on 25 January 2020, the job expo saw a record number of 5384 students walk into the venue from colleges across Belgaum and Goa.
Companies Participated: Infosys, Codilar Technologies, Maventic Solutions, Omega Healthcare, HDFC, DCB Bank, Gallagher, NIIT for Accenture, 24-7, Collabera to name a few.
Facts and Figures: Over 641 students received on-spot offers, 243 students shortlisted for final rounds and more than 100 offers may be rolled out soon.
The daylong event was concluded on an astounding note as the parents and students expressed their gratitude to Jain (Deemed-to-be University) for hosting an event of this scale smoothly along with the myriad of opportunities.
Hosted annually across many campuses in different regions, this vibrant job expo sees over thousands of hopeful candidates walk into the venue, connect in-person with the recruiters and walk away with some great on-spot offers. The students undergo a written test followed by personal interviews for the various profiles that are available and at the same time offer parents a unique opportunity to witness the on-goings of an interview process and encourage the youngsters at every step.
