Sabah Carim, the author of Semi Apes and Humeirah addressed the PG English literature students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

On the 21st of September 2016, a workshop on 'Book Reading' was organized by the PG Department of English, Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The international author named Sabah Carim, the author of Semi Apes and Humeirah interacted with the PG English literature students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University).

Sabah Carim is of Mauritian origin who resides in Malaysia and writes literary fiction. Sabah's first novel, Humeirah was presented in Pakistan, India, Mauritius, Malaysia and the UK.This works has been the subject of a thesis by Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. It had also received critical reviews in various journals.

Sabah's highlights about the new book's (Semi Apes) was enriching for both the faculty and students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). Faculty and Students Thank Saba for sharing her valuable insights about writing, editing and publishing.

Semi-Apes has been reviewed by Muse India (a literary journal based in India) and South Asian Review (a peer-reviewed journal based in the US). It is also currently being reviewed by Wasafiri (a London-based journal) and Journal of Creativity and Human Development (based in Scotland).
