Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is pleased to share that Department of Mechanical Engineering of School of Engineering and Technology has entered into an association with Indian Machine Tool Manufacturer's Association (IMTMA) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 17 November 2017.
The purpose of the association is to conduct Finishing School Program on Production Engineering for two weeks at IMTMA campus which will allow final year students to get ready for industry. The students will get hands-on experience in the areas of process planning, Computer Numerical Controlling (CNC) machining, measurement & quality control, and CAD/CAM programming. Industry visits will be arranged for major machine tool manufacturing industries, followed by project work and weekly evaluation tests and assignments.
Dr. Hariprasad S. A, Director of SET, Mr. Vijay Kumar Dy. Director of IMTMA along with Mr. Digvijay Marketing Executives IMTMA including Dr. A Ramprasad, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering were present during the function.
