Seminar on Oracle Cloud

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) ’s School of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Computer Society of India (CSI) and All India Oracle Users Group (AIOUG) organized a technical seminar on Oracle Cloud by Mr. Pravin from IBM and Mr. Veera from Oracle on 25 August 2018.

Mr. Pravin, (Lead Technical Architect) IBM India Corporation explained the basic features and business entities available on Oracle Cloud. Further in his discussion, explained that Oracle Cloud is a cloud computing service offered by Oracle Corporation providing servers, storage, network, applications and services through a global network of Oracle Corporation managed data centers. This platform supports numerous open standards (SQL, HTML5, REST, etc.), open-source solutions (Kubernetes, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) and a variety of programming languages, databases, tools and frameworks including Oracle-specific, Open Source and third-party software and systems.

Mr. Veera from Oracle India Corporation explained oracle cloud services in detail and various certifications available from Oracle for cloud management. More than 4000 Oracle Partner apps and services are offered on the marketplace.
