Swedish delegates visit Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

Two professors from Swedish Universities, Prof. Ulf Melstrom (Karlstad University) and Prof. Per-Anders Forstop (Linköping University), visited Jain (Deemed-to-be University) on 22 February 2016, to interact with the faculty on “Research Questions on Private and Public universities”. They interacted with the vice chancellor, registrar, pro vice chancellor, deans, and directors of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The Vice Chancellor Dr. N. Sundararajan, gave a brief overview of the functioning of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). This was followed by a brief presentation of the academic activities of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) by the Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Shastri. There was an interactive session on various matters relating to research activities, projects, collaborations, consultancy, funding, and teaching-learning. The visitors went on a campus tour at one of the constituents of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in Jayanagar. They responded positively and expressed their wish to continue their association with Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in the form of MOUs and academic exchange programs.
