Jain (Deemed-to-be University)’s School of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Technical Talk and Training Session on “Fiber Optic Communication and Antennas” on 30 August 2018 for V and VII semester students and faculties. The speaker of the session was Mr. Sankar Nair, Technical Manager, Akademika Lab Solutions, Pune.
He started with the basic principle of optic fiber communication by giving an insight on various aspects of Fiber Optic Communication and Antennas added with various audio-visual. The hands-on session with various fiber optic kits was much helpful for the students to understand the basics of communication. He demonstrated an antenna measurements system for transmitter and receiver of signal 3 GHz for the rectangular patch antenna.
