Dr. Badri Rajgopal is an Alumni of Center for Post Graduate Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), pursued his higher studies in UK. His talk aimed in encouraging the post graduate students towards their higher studies. He highlighted the scope of life sciences and all the courses offered in life sciences which are inter related. Dr. Badri explained the importance of certain instruments such as X-Ray's, Crystallography and Cyclotron.
From August 2012 he has been working as Research assistant in the University of Essex under the guidance of Dr. Chris Cooper. His team worked on production and purification of recombinant hemoglobin and its use as normal blood substitute. Dr. Badri spoke about his future plans emphasizing to be an entrepreneur in Life sciences from various corporate houses and social organizations. The event turned out to be a great success.
