School of Graduate Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) conducted a Workshop on Platonic Solids & Geometry, Fractal constructions & Equations at Jain (Deemed-to-be University). Mathematics teachers and students from nearly 30 schools participated in the event. Prof. Sneha Titus of Azim Premji Foundation spoke on fractal geometry and platonic solids. Dr. B Sury of the Indian Statistical Institute, delved into the topics like prime numbers, polynomials and related math-puzzles. Prof. J V Ramana Raju of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) spoke on some interesting class of numbers like triangular numbers, pentagonal numbers, pythagorean triples etc.
