Eligibility

The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities, etc.) from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE, CISCE, NIOS, AISSCE, ISC or their equivalent. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination for academic year 2019-20 are also encouraged to apply.

Overview

Interior Design is a comprehensive profession in which creative and practical solutions are applied within a structure to accomplish a built interior environment. Jain (Deemed-to-be University) offers B.Sc in Interior Design to prepare the student to plan, research, coordinate, and manage such enhancement projects. The scope of Interior Design in India is huge since it is a multifaceted profession that involves innovative ideas, designing, and creative thinking. We can see a surge in demand for Interior Designers for different settings. The course has six semesters where the student will be able to acquire the knowledge of an intensive Design scheme that aims to produce dynamic professionals equipped with profound creative and technical skills in interior design. The focus of the program is to create awareness of the functional and aesthetic qualities of the design. The Program introduces students to design principles, color theory, space planning, drafting, and industrial standard. Interior Design This course exposes the students to various kinds of projects that they may come across in their career later.
