The BA in Ad film is an innovative, creative and real-time practical course. The course combines both technical and theoretical knowledge, than more on the theory of film and filmmaking. The students learn to analyze the way ad films are constructed and also how to express the brands through creative media practice to perform specific roles in the film production workflow as per the industry standards and practices.The course is divided into 306 classroom sessions, 54 film appreciation sessions & 54 practical sessions. The agenda of the course is to develop a strong portfolio which is essential to pursue a notable career in film industry. The career opportunities within the ad film/ film industry are notoriously competitive and requires a strong resilience and determination to succeed. The working experience and network is the most effective way to obtain the right opportunities, in order to showcase the techniques learnt during the period of course. This also provides a diversified opportunities in the field of advertising, Art, Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations and broadcasting.
The minimum qualification required to apply is, pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or equivalent board. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the University.
