Social Impact

Social Responsibility is deeply rooted in the mission of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). Call it good social responsibility or simply gearing the staff and students for a better role in the society. It stems from a realization that we are all part of the community, locally, nationally or globally, and how we affect the society will ultimately affect the way we live.

Social Impact Initiatives

My Country Run - marathon event organized annually to support and nurture Olympians and sport persons.

Connect to Careers - Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organizes job fairs across cities to provide employment to job aspirants especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Radio Active - CR 90.4 MHz - community radio station in Bengaluru which focuses on issues concerning health, environment, development, scientific awareness, women, social issues etc., In turn seeking to inform and educate while entertaining the public.

Sampradaana - an annual Blood Donation Camp held on 7th July every year to commemorate the birthday of the President of Jain (Deemed-to-be University).

Anna Seva - is a non-profit initiative by CRCE to help underprivileged people through distribution of food while attempting to avoid food wastage at the same time.

SEED - Social Education and Empowerment Drive. SEED focuses on educating and empowering the underprivileged children. The initiative also includes inspiring sessions by experts from various fields to motivate the children to pursue their dreams.
