SAMASHTI - The Student Council
SAMASHTI is a student governing body representative of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). As the name suggests, SAMASHTI represents 'Harmony' and 'Synergy', and we believe That Coming together is the beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success. SAMASHTI provides students with an illustration platform to discover and exhibit their talents. At SAMASHTI, we encourage every student to conquer their fears and bring out the best version of themselves.
Enactus
Enactus is an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring students to take entrepreneurial action and improve the lives of others. It is the largest organisation for experimental learning, empowering students to take entrepreneurial action. At Enactus, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), we are a group of strong and dedicated students striving to explore the entrepreneur within ourselves. With two projects underway this year and various projects completed by our seniors in previous years, we are the social entrepreneur's division at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).

Connect to Careers with Industry – (Internship and Placement drive process through SCAPS Forum) – which supports drives conducted as part of Campus Hire Internships, teaching, and industry–based programs. SCAPS is dedicated to getting companies to campus and placing them in the right profiles.

Arthaastra (Economics Club)
Arthaastra is the Economics Forum at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The name 'Arthaastra' is derived from two Sanskrit words, 'Artha' meaning money, and 'Astra' meaning weapon. Putting them together, we get 'ARTHAASTRA', which translates to 'Your Money is Your Weapon'. The forum believes that the field of Economics is more than just numbers and is a study of society about its behaviour involving money. This is a platform that brings together all economics and Finance enthusiasts, where discussions on current affairs, stock markets, financial news, and the Indian economy, which lie at the core or on the periphery of the discipline of Economics, Take Place. The forum also organises expert talks where experts discuss key economic themes, emerging trends, and policy solutions. Additionally, hosts hands-on workshops, discussions, debates, Stock market events, club activities, and business plans that bring together diverse stakeholders to address pressing economic problems.
Aawaz
The Public Speaking Forum at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences is a dynamic platform that empowers students with the art of effective communication. Rooted in the vision of nurturing confident, articulate, and socially aware individuals, AAWAZ provides a supportive and inclusive space for students to refine their oratory and critical thinking skills. Through workshops, debates, speeches, and interactive sessions, the forum encourages students to find their voice and use it to Inspire, Influence, and Lead—both within and beyond the classroom. Beyond mastering the techniques of public speaking, AAWAZ fosters critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and ethical communication, equipping students to engage in dialogue that bridges differences and drives meaningful discourse. The forum also collaborates with academic departments, student clubs, and external experts to provide a broad range of exposure—from academic presentations to public policy debates and creative expressions. In essence, AAWAZ envisions cultivating a generation of eloquent, thoughtful, and responsible communicators who use their voices not just to be heard, but to inspire, influence, and lead with purpose in every sphere of life.
Prism – The PR Team of SHSS
PRISM is the official Public Relations team of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) at Jain University. The team serves as the creative and strategic communication hub of the school, focusing on event management, technical support (including photography and videography), and social media outreach. Guided by the motto 'Communicate, Collaborate, Celebrate,' PRISM ensures that every event and achievement of SHSS is effectively showcased to both internal and external audiences. By blending creativity with professionalism, the team plays a vital role in enhancing the school's visibility, fostering community engagement, and celebrating the accomplishments of students and faculty.
Aarava-The English Forum
AARAVA – The English Forum at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is a dynamic student-led platform that celebrates literature, language, and creative expression beyond the classroom. It fosters inclusive learning through activities like open mics, discussions, plays, quizzes, workshops, and guest lectures. The forum features four vibrant sub-platforms: Cinemorphia for film enthusiasts, Ennoi for book lovers and literature enthusiasts, Thespia for theatre and dramaturgy aficionados, and Asteria for aspiring publishers and editors. Aarava aims to enhance LSRW skills through activity-based learning while nurturing creativity and collaboration. It provides a space for students to explore poetry, short stories, graphic narratives, and media writing. The club promotes active communication, peer learning, and critical engagement with both pop culture and classical texts. It supports budding writers and performers in developing their voice and confidence. Above all, Aarava exists to learn, grow, and evolve through shared passion and literary dialogue.
Socius
The Sociology Club at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), serves as a dynamic platform for students to explore the intersections of society, culture, and change. Through discussions, workshops, field activities, and collaborative projects, the club aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world social understanding, encouraging students to become informed, empathetic, and responsible citizens. The club serves as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and lived experience, enabling members to explore pressing social themes such as inequality, gender, the environment, digital culture, and urban transformation. It also promotes interdisciplinary engagement by collaborating with other clubs and academic departments, fostering a holistic learning ecosystem. Socius envisions creating a community of socially conscious learners and changemakers who can critically analyse, responsibly engage, and innovatively respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing society.
Samavesh
Samavesh (Journalism Club): Samavesh is a dynamic and spirited community that serves as a vibrant platform for aspiring journalists to hone their craft, explore diverse interests, and express their creative visions. The club fosters collaboration among peers and professionals, cultivating a supportive environment that nurtures personal and career growth. From capturing the pulse of campus events to reporting on pressing global issues, Samavesh reflects a commitment to truth and creativity. Through engaging contests, impactful projects, and inspiring collaborations, Samavesh not only sharpens the skills of its members but also shapes the perspectives of young minds.
Abhijna (Psychology Club)
Abhijna, the official Psychology Club of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, is a vibrant community that explores the depths of the human mind, emotions, and behaviour. The club bridges classroom learning with real-world experiences, making psychology engaging, relevant, and meaningful for all students. In 2024, Abhijna hosted its flagship event, Manoverse, a three-day Student Development Program themed 'AI and Psychology,' featuring expert sessions and interactive workshops on the connection between technology and human behaviour. The club also launched Manasvi, an original publication designed to promote mindfulness, creativity, and self-reflection.
Beyond campus, Abhijna led impactful initiatives, including the Suicide Prevention Campaign and school outreach workshops, that encouraged emotional awareness and compassion. In 2025, it continued its efforts through a Suicide Prevention Day event and regular Saturday activities that foster connection, growth, and well-being. Abhijna continues to embody the essence of psychology — curiosity, empathy, and understanding — inspiring students to look beyond the classroom and apply psychological insight to life itself.
Model United Nations (MUN)
Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations, but there is much more to it. Model UN is a diplomatic competition where delegates are assigned to countries as portfolios and must express their country's beliefs in the committee to pass favourable resolutions. Delegates who show the most skills in negotiating, public speaking, resolution writing and diplomacy receive awards. An MUN, in addition to simulating the United Nations, also cultivates these skills in an individual.
Antaral
Antaral is an initiative aimed at bringing about positive change in society through small steps. At JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), we are creating awareness about the unspoken issues prevalent in society, initiating dialogues and discussions. We foster an atmosphere of equality and opportunity among people as part of the change. We also strive to promote environmental well-being.
Shodha (Student Research Development Cell)
The Student Research Development Cell – SHODHA is an initiative of the School of Commerce, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), aimed at enhancing the research capacity of students. The objective is to provide a platform for students to step into research paper writing and to guide young, intuitive minds in the right direction. It enhances the research output of students by encouraging them to publish their research papers in leading indexed / peer-reviewed / refereed international and National journals. The Student Research Development Cell is also actively involved in organising webinars, workshops, and national and international conferences.
Sports Forum
Sports Forum has always been one of the active forums at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). We have organised various events and have always encouraged students at the university to explore different paths. We encourage students to explore their abilities through various sports, including cricket, badminton, basketball, and others. We organise both indoor and outdoor sports, ensuring that the events scheduled are executed according to plan. We have a volunteer base of over 100 students at the university who work with an ambitious goal of helping others achieve their dreams.
It is always a pleasure to know that their talents are seen. We have always served one another and balanced the forum by helping others work towards their interests.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps is a leadership training activity for students that teaches them responsibility and resourcefulness. It also helps students develop smart thinking, quick reasoning, and reaction skills, and handle various situations in an adept manner. Physically fit students are encouraged to join the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The motto of NSS, "Not me but you," reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. NSS helps students develop an appreciation for other people's points of view and show consideration towards other living beings. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) encourages students to volunteer and be a part of this social wing.
Prabhavaha
Prabhavaha, under the department of Samskritam, strives hard to cater to the literary inquisitiveness of the students. It aims to develop the aesthetic sense of young minds, sharpen language and dramatic skills, excel in all fields of the department, and also instil moral and cultural values among the youth. In concurrence with this motto, various guest lectures, seminars, and inter-collegiate literary competitions are organised.
Artography
The English literary forum Artography aims to develop and enrich the creative aspects of learning. The purpose of the forum is to develop students' confidence by providing them with a platform to showcase their artistic work. The forum is not just restricted to literary events, but also supports various forms of artistic installations, such as paintings, photography, sketching, pottery, and crafts, through 'Articulate': the Arts and Crafts Exhibition, organised under the banner of Artography.
Hindi Parishad
The forum conducts competitions at the intercollegiate level, including debate, dialogue writing, acting, and performance skills, to hone the creative talents of students. Lectures will be delivered to promote the Hindi language, literature and culture of India among students. In addition to these competitions, the forum will organise 'Hindi Divas' and 'Vasantotsava' to promote and celebrate Indian culture and heritage.
Kannada Vedike
Kannada Vedike conducts competitions such as debate, Dialogue Writing, Acting, and Performance Skills to hone the creative talents of students. Lectures will be delivered to promote the Kannada language and culture of Karnataka among students.
Manoverse: A Student Development Program
Manoverse is an immersive event designed to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Psychology. Through interactive workshops, expert-led discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will delve into the impact of AI on human cognition, behaviour, and mental health.
This program aims to bridge the gap between technology and psychology, equipping students with insights into AI-driven psychological research, ethical considerations, and real-world applications in fields like mental health support, behavioural analysis, and human-computer interaction. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or a psychology student, Manoverse will challenge perspectives, spark innovation, and inspire new possibilities in the evolving landscape of AI and human behaviour.
