Baby Shyamili’s research interests is in the development of advanced electrocatalysts for sustainable energy applications, with a particular focus on water splitting technologies. She works on understanding and improving the catalytic processes involved in the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER), aiming to enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability for clean hydrogen production.
Shyamili joined Jain University in June 2026 as a Project Assistant to pursue her Ph.D. in Chemistry. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from IIT Palakkad and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, from HPPC Government First Grade College.
Shyamili likes reading methodology books, playing games and painting.
