Padmaja Vasant Mane has been awarded the Best Poster award at "International Symposium - Rasayan 18-2024", jointly Organized by CRS and CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, in collaboration with RSC.
Shrinath Bhat served as a project intern at CRFM, where he demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise. He has secured a PhD position at the University of Adelaide, Australia. This institution is a member of the Group of Eight, a coalition of Australia's most research-intensive institutions, and is renowned for attracting highly talented researchers, students, government, and industry partners. Mr Bhat has been awarded the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship for his potential. His PhD research will focus on the systematic monitoring and evaluation of PFAS immobilization in soil under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Shervin Kabiri. We are incredibly proud of Mr. Bhat's achievements and are confident that he will continue to excel academically. His dedication and passion for his field are truly commendable, and we look forward to his future contributions to the scientific community.
Arvind Raj, Senior Research Fellow at CRFM, has been awarded the MAECI Scholarship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, allowing him to extend his research activities in Italy. His 6-month research at the University of Milan, guided by Professor Claudia L. Bianchi, focuses on use of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for the removal of polyphenols from contaminated water. This achievement underscores the significance of international collaboration in pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration.
Vishwanath joined CRFM as an assistant professor; before this position, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemical Sciences, Ariel University, Israel. Vishwanath did his Ph.D. in Chemical Science at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland, and secondment at Chuo University, Tokyo, Japan.
Dr.ShambhulingaAralekallu joined CRFM as an assistant professor in March 2023. Before that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Hanyang University, South Korea.
We congratulate Mr. Vinayak Hegde (Project fellow at CRFM), who has secured a doctoral position at the Department of Convergence Biosystems Engineering, Chonnam National University, South Korea. Mr. Vinayak has also been awarded the prestigious global scholarship for the first semester.
We congratulate Dr. Richelle Mahima Rego (Research Associate at CRFM), who has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanotechnology, Department of Nanotechnology, Faculty of Sciences, for her thesis titled “Metal Organic Frameworks and their Composites for the Removal of Emerging Contaminants” -under the guidance of Dr. Madhuprasad and Co-guide Prof. Mahaveer D. Kurkuri.
