Mr. Kruthik’s research interests lie in the development of advanced electrocatalysts for sodium battery storage capacity. He works on understanding and improving the catalytic process involved in OER and ORR, aiming to enhance efficiency, storage capacity, electrochemical energy storage, sustainable energy storage technology and the development of batteries with particular emphases on electrode material design, performance enhancement, achieving higher energy density, improving safety and long-term sustainability.
Kruthik C Shekar joined Jain University in May-2026 as a project Assistant to pursue his Ph.D. in Chemistry. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from University of Mysore and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology from Nrupathunga University.
Kruthik enjoys reading books, travelling, hiking, and listening to music.
