The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board. A course recognised as equivalent thereto by the University.

The JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Kochi’s Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) programme, enriched by its unique integration of Risk Management with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification, is a dynamic and comprehensive academic offering. A specific curriculum for important business subjects such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Law, Economics and Management is available at the B. Com Risk Management Institute of Kochi. Advanced topics in risk management, e.g. assessment of risks, mitigation strategies and compliance with regulatory requirements are among the main highlights.
The programme will be extended for in-depth research projects by one year through the option of an Honours programme with a Research Track. The integration with CIMA ensures the preparation of the CIMA examinations, with possible exemptions and access to CIMA's global network. International business dynamics are promoted in the programme, to strengthen adaptability and competitiveness. With a focus on research, analytical skills and technology in the business sector, it aims to foster cross-cultural competence and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit. The curriculum equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the evolving professional landscape.
