The categories of students covered in this document would be applicants entering First Year Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programmes at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and approved by AICTE.

Grounds for a Refund and the Refunded Amount

The student may apply for cancellation of the provisional admission and may request for refund of fees, as per the below table.

Withdrawal Request From The Student
Situation of Withdrawal Refund Practice
Refund request is made before the formally notified last date of admission Full refund of Registration, Tuition and Academic & Administration (A & A) Fee after deducting INR 1000 as processing fee
Refund request is received after the start of the academic session No Refund

Note: Last date for Cancellation of Seats for BTech & MTech with FULL Fee Refund will be 11 September 2023

Important
The University will try its best to process the refund requests within 30 working days (Excluding incidental Sundays and University Holidays) from the date of confirmation of the receipt of ALL supporting documents.

The University shall approve the Refund confirmation date only after it has received and verified all the supporting documents. Any delay in the submission of documents may further delay the refund confirmation date.

This refund and cancellation procedure is in accordance with the AICTE guidelines.

Withdrawal Request From The Student
Situation Refund Practice
Refund request received more than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission 5% deduction maximum upto INR 5000
Refund request received on or after the Formally notified last date of admission 1. Less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission - 10% deduction on total fee paid

2. Less than 15 days after the formally notified last date of admission - 20% deduction on total fee paid

3. 30 days or less but more than 15 days after the formally notified last date of admission - 50% deduction on total fee paid

4. More than 30 days after formally notified last date of admission - No Refund
Important
