The Center for Urban Ecology, Biodiversity, Evolution, and Climate Change (CUBEC) is a vibrant research hub situated within the School of Sciences, offering PhD programs in Zoology, Botany, and Environmental Sciences. As an evolving research centre, CUBEC brings together a diverse team of experts, including scientists, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and technical staff.

Our research focus areas include:

- Biogeography
- Evolutionary biology

- Population biology
- Climate change research
- Conservation biology

At CUBEC, we're committed to conducting high-impact research that elucidates the patterns and processes shaping life on Earth. Through extensive national and international collaborations, we tackle pressing issues, such as:

- Predicting climate change impacts on biodiversity
