Tina started her career as a design professional with Fabindia and moved on to work with other clients in the industry namely Premier Fine Linens (Coimbatore) and Mulberry Silk Ltd (Bangalore), including her Alma mater, the National Institute of Design. Through her career she has led and mentored teams of managers, designers and developers for ideation and innovation in product design and category introductions in the area of lifestyle products.

She has worked in the area of home textiles for export clients in Europe and the US through Zanav Home Collection (Bangalore). She has had the opportunity to visit clients for user and customer research through international trade fairs and industry visits like Moods (Brussels), Heimtextil (Frankfurt), Maison Et Objet (Paris) and CIFF (Shanghai). Tina's latest professional venture, prior to joining The School of Design, Media and Creative Arts, was as Head of Design (Upholstery and Decor) for Urban Ladder. As one of the founding members in the ‘Décor’ category, she was instrumental in developing the brand-language for the décor category, complementary to the furniture category. She drove revenue growth by ensuring thorough curation and product identification to create bestsellers across both sourced and in-house designed products. Tina is also one of the founders and creative head of her own ventures, Aalo and Incy Wincy which have carved out a niche in their own rights in the craft’s space. She continues to further this initiative on the online front, going forward.

Dr. Sai Prasad Ojha holds a Ph.D. in User Experience Design from IIT Guwahati, M.Tech. in CIMA (Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Automation) from NERIST, Itanagar and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Technical Education and Research, Bhubaneswar. Prior to joining Jain University, Dr. Ojha had experience as Assistant Professor at MIT Group of Institutions in User Experience Design Department. He was coordinating the User Experience Design Branch in MIT WPU, Pune.

During his Ph.D, Dr. Ojha has worked on bridging the gap between traditional crafts and modern digital technology. He has presented his works in various national and international conferences. Dr. Ojha has worked in various projects during his tenure as Research Assistant at Ideas Lab, CPDM, IISc. Bangalore. He was also working in HAL, Sunabeda-2, Engine division as Apprenticeship Trainee in Tool Room, Gear Section, Assembly Section and Inspection Section.

He is a member of 'The Design Society', U.K., and has been a member in different BOS meetings of various Design Schools. He has also been invited as a Jury member for the UX courses at different Design Schools.

Sooraj Mohan is experienced in visual media development teachings on animations, films visual effects, commercials, 3D game designs and motion graphics projects. He has contributed to the growth of new media technology with previous experiences, academic, artistic, technical and managerial skills.

He prides himself in researching and developing new topics of media courses and teaching subject matters using authentic online resources. He is responsible for handling all facets of administration as well as updating with the latest trends and techniques for visual media. He is involved in the creation of departmental project processes, policies and procedures.

Sooraj Mohan is an Assistant professor with very good experience of working on different media projects. He aims to research on new virtual media productions and media managements. He is highly organised, detail oriented, efficient in multi-tasking with great communication skills. He is skilled in researching and creating an array of academic materials ranging from lesson plans to published articles. He has a thorough knowledge of scheduling, resource allocations and time management.

Salam Manisana is presently pursuing her PhD from Vivekananda Global University, Rajasthan. She holds a degree in M.Sc. Fashion Design from Himalaya, an Advance Diploma in Fashion Design from JD Fashion Technology Gwalior, BA and LLb from Jiwaji University Gwalior.

She is a determined and responsible professional offering nearly 20 years of experience of academic, corporate, and freelancing in fashion designing and associated areas. She is a seasoned professional with excellent teaching, managerial, and administrative competencies. She is a creative educator and a well-acknowledged 'organizer & consultant' for fashion events and workshops.

Her industry experience includes working with companies like D R Garments, Porbandar, Miracle Fashion House, Gwalior and Waterman Consultancy, Gwalior. As an academic, she has previously worked at INIFD, ITM University and JD Fashion Technology in Gwalior as well as at Amity University, Gwalior as visiting faculty.

Rahul Mandody has completed his Masters in Design from IIT Guwahati. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. His interest in Product design has taken him into many teaching and project roles. On the industrial front, he has worked as a Project Assistant at IDC, IIT Bombay and as an Associate Designer at Design Difference, Kochi. As an academic, he was employed as an Assistant Professor at School of Design and Architecture, Manipal University, Dubai Campus, and as an Academic Coordinator at Jain University, Kochi campus. He was also a part of the Faculty of Design and Technology IGCSE curriculum, at Hebron School Ooty.

Lenin Babu has 9 years of industry experience and 6 years of academic experience. He completed his Postgraduate degree in Painting from JNA & FAU, Hyderabad. He has many national and international shows to his credit. He is currently researching on the hero stones of Andhra Pradesh for a project. As an academician, He strives to inspire and mentor students to excel in their careers.

As an artist, he specialises in various mediums of painting. He is also proficient at working on computer related creative work using Photoshop, Coral Draw, Illustrator, etc. His works of art are inspired by mother earth and the concept of fertility. His research interest is based on history and culture which is why he has previously worked as a conservator at Faluknuma Palace, Hyderabad.

Ankita is an Architect and an Interior Design expert possessing both the technical knowledge and artistic talent to guide and inspire students. She has completed a rigorous education of Bachelors in Architecture from Odisha University of Technology & Research followed by Masters in Interior Architecture from the CEPT University and has accumulated years of practical experience in the industry. Ankita as a naturalist also practices as the principal architect of O'maali (landscaping & outdoor design services).

Ankita has been a core design faculty in Bangalore School of Design, including expertise in design studios, branding techniques, technical drafting and rendering, furniture design, materials and finishes, and design thesis. She has also been responsible for developing advanced curriculum with the involvement of latest software and AI tools and upgrading student's thought process thoroughly by conducting workshops and industrial visits.

Students look up to her as a mentor and guide, seeking guidance as they navigate the complexities of new age software, design research and thesis, wherein her constructive feedback helps them to develop their skills and reach their full potential. Apurva did her Masters of Architecture (M.Arch) from Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) and completed her Bachelors of Architecture from Chitkara University. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Development. Apurva has more than 3 years of academic experience followed by many years of industry exposure.

She began her teaching career at C.C.E.T college and then moved on to Lovely Professional University, where she worked as a coordinator for Admissions and referred students internationally for credit transfer programmes. She worked on consulting assignments for the institution at Chitkara University. She is currently affiliated with the School of Design, Media, and Creative Arts, and due to her proficiency in computer, she assists with detailed architectural as well as interior drawings.

Though an architect by profession, she is working closely with students on commercial as well as residential interior design and helps them excel in their future aspects. Her works and research are oriented towards sustainability and cost-effective interiors, keeping in mind a user's requirement and aesthetics.

Dhananjoy Singh Chowdhury professionally works as a concept artist specializing in character design, environment and assets design. Having over a decade of experience in fine arts, he has developed himself as a digital artist having expertise in both traditional and digital mediums. He has many achievements to his name, like the Young Artists Scholarship, Junior Fellowship and Garhi under Ministry of Culture, and winning multiple national awards as a printmaker.

On the academic front, he has worked with reputed institutions like ICAT Design and Media College, ISDC Global, and Lovely Professional University as an Assistant Professor. His industry experience involves working with the giant edtech company BYJUS as a concept artist. Currently he works as an Assistant Professor in Jain university School of Design.

Ms. Hamsalekha Ravi holds an M.Sc. in Textile and Apparel Design from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and holds a B. Sc in Fashion and Apparel Design from Acharya Institute, Bangalore University. She has 2 years of industrial experience carried forward with 3 years of experience in teaching and academics.

Her industrial experience includes working as a Junior Merchandiser at Up apparels, Bangalore and as an Assistant Costume Designer - movie "Kaala" (2018) under Lyca productions. On the academic front, she has worked as a lecturer at Acharya institute of Polytechnic, Bangalore and as an Assistant Professor at IIFT College of Fashion, Bangalore. She was also a part of the visiting faculty at Army Institute of Fashion and Design, as well as at the Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore.

Neethu Parvathy holds a Bachelors of Design in Fashion Design from NIFT, Kannur Campus and Masters of Design in User Experience & Interface Design from NIFT, Bangalore Campus. She has been teaching for over a year and a half. She brought with herself a plethora of new and innovative ideas when she joined Jain (Deemed-to-be University) as an Assistant professor. She is passionate about designing and stays updated on the latest trends in the industry. Her drive for sharing knowledge with her students is impressive and makes her stand out.
