Eligibility

The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board. A course recognised as equivalent thereto by the University.

Overview

A full blend of core business principles and specialised knowledge is provided in the Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree programme, with a focus on Finance and Business Analytics. For example, students will study topics such as finance management, investment analysis, statistics, data mining and predictive modelling. This curriculum teaches students to think critically and solve problems, theoretical insights and practical skills essential for success in finance and data-driven decision-making. Integration of financial and business analysis ensures a solid foundation in both business and finance by combining expertise with technical knowledge.

The Business Analytics course, in collaboration with IoA-UK, trains students in analyzing complex data using programming languages like Python and R. Aimed at those with a keen interest in statistical and business skills for the digital economy, the course teaches data interpretation, pattern analysis, and driving strategic change in organisations.

In its fourth year, the B. Com Honours course offers specialised knowledge and skills in a given field to enhance professional competencies. The programme is focused on research, analytics and technologies in the field to build theory and practical understanding. It promotes a business mindset, nurtures practical skills and gives students an edge in the dynamic job market.

Award: Students will be eligible for Graduate Membership of IoA after the course completion.
