Eligibility

An aggregate of 50% in bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent (10+2+3) without any backlogs are eligible to apply for postgraduate programs. Students with a composite score of 500 in GMAT / MAT or with a minimum 70% in CAT / XAT / CMAT may also apply.

Overview

Logistics and Supply Chain Management plays a pivotal role in an organization’s growth and customer satisfaction. Strategic planning of supply chain management ensures regular movement of products and services from the resources to the customer. Managers and entrepreneurs, both in service and manufacturing organizations, with sound knowledge and application of supply chain management skills can reduce cost, build supplier partnerships, and make a difference to their company’s success, as well as competitive and financial performance through supply chain surplus.


The program, Logistics and Supply Chain Management trains students to develop a link between the manufacturing unit and the consumers. A strong foundation in concepts, practical exposure, and design skills will help students to design a supply chain for any industry by identifying and understanding specific customer needs. Students will learn to apply core methodologies (probability, statistics, and optimization) used in supply chain modeling and analysis, models to make trade-offs between forecasting, inventory, and transportation, design supply chain networks, and technology use within supply chain.
