JAIN Entrance Test 2021

What is JET?
  • JET (JAIN Entrance Test) is a University Level examination that is mandatory for securing admissions to UG and PG programs
  • B.Tech JET comprises of Online Entrance Exam
  • M.Tech JET comprises of Online Entrance Exam and Personal Interview (PI)
  • Note: - Exemption will be granted for students who have appeared for GATE 2022

Admission Process

Online Entrance Exam is conducted in 4 slots:

  • 2 Slots on 30th March 2022 - 9:30 AM - 12:00 AM & 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • 2 Slots on 31st March 2022 - 9:30 AM - 12:00 AM & 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

JAIN Entrance Test 2022 M.Tech

  • JET for M. Tech programs will be held on March 14 & 15, 2022
  • 14th March 2022 - 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • 15th March 2022 - 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Interview time slots for students who have appeared for GATE)
  • 15th March 2022 - 12:00 PM – 02:00 PM (Interview time slots for applicants who have cleared JET)
System Requirements for Online Test
  • 1. Supported Devices – Desktop computers & Laptop computers
  • 2. Non Supported Devices – IPad and IPhone
  • 3. Operating System –For Desktops and Laptops: Window 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, 15.04 only) systems
  • 4. Browsers – Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later) recommended. N.B. Only Google Chrome Browser need to be used.
  • 5. Minimum Configuration: Processor: Core 2 Duo and above
  • 6. Processor speed: 1.5 GHz and above; RAM: minimum 1 GB.
  • 7. Minimum Internet Speed-2 Mbps
  • 8. Pop-up blockers on the web browser must be disabled
  • 9. Webcam and Microphone are mandatory
Please Note: This is a Proctored Assessment i.e. you will be monitored during the assessment

Switch Count: The number of times you switch out of the assessment window, the count and time is monitored by the team. You will be automatically logged out if found doing window switch multiple number of times.

Multiple Face Detection: If more than one candidate is seen during the assessment then the candidate will be automatically logged out of the assessment.

Earphones: Don’t use headphone/earphone; the tool will detect any external object being used during the assessment.

Mobile phone: Don’t Use mobile phone, the tool will detect any external object being used during the assessment.

Apart from the ones mentioned above, if you are found indulging in any means of malpractices, , you will be logged out of the assessment by the Proctor.

Personal Interview will be facilitated through Google Hangouts App for M.Tech candidates
