Overview

The Bachelor of Arts programme in Psychology, Sociology and Economics is the basic prerequisite for most of the careers in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences and through these three different subjects we build a strong foundation for the students. This programme further provides a wide area of options to students for opting into various fields in psychology, where students explore a spectrum of topics, ranging from cognitive processes to clinical psychology. In the same option in Sociology, here students ain insights into social inequality, globalisation, and the impact of various social factors on individuals and communities. This knowledge is indispensable for careers in social research, policy analysis, or community development. Economics equips students with a solid understanding of economic theories, policies, and systems. Students can opt for various career options such as careers in finance, research, or contributing to policy-making bodies.

The programme offers 168 credits, spread over 8 semesters consisting of three major subjects from each semester. The programme is designed which offer skill certification for employability with LinkedIn learning and Springboard offered to students.  The students are also encouraged to pursue higher education and research in various disciplines such as Psychology, Sociology and Economics.
