Eligibility

The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board. A course recognised as equivalent thereto by the University.

Overview

The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme in Financial Services at the School of Commerce is a flagship programme. This course is designed to instill a profound understanding of management principles and leadership skills in finance. Covering diverse subjects such as Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and Strategic Management, the programme ensures graduates are well-equipped for professional success in various scenarios. An outstanding feature of the programme is its certification with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), providing students with a comprehensive curriculum covering leadership, organisational behaviour, strategic planning, and project management. This certification enhances students' capacity to lead and manage effectively in diverse business settings, complementing their commerce education. 

Upon completing the course, students will receive an FS certification from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). Additionally, they can opt for CISI certification at a discounted rate of 25 GBP each.

The fourth year of BMS (Hons) provides specialised knowledge and skills. The development of entrepreneurial mindsets, analytical skills and technology integration is also to be emphasised. To prepare them for the dynamic professional world, students are exposed to global frameworks, monetary designs, and business standards.
