Eligibility

Candidates must have cleared 10 + 2 or equivalent in relevant discipline with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics as main subjects and acquired an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized board

Overview

This 3-year program in Food Technology involves the study of characteristics of food, its nutritional composition, reactions and changes that take place at various levels of processing and storage, microbiological aspects of food to prevent spoilage and enhance shelf life. This program equips aspiring food technologists with knowledge and skills about the food processing industry. Further, the program gives an in-depth understanding of designing food production units and various equipment used in processing, safety, and regulatory aspects of the developed product, inspection and accreditation, and more.
