CUBEC, rooted in ecological resilience and sustainable development, explores how cities, species, and societies adapt to rapid environmental change, translating scientific insights into actionable policies and sustainable practices. Its research spans urban ecology, biodiversity conservation, and climate adaptation, integrating biological sciences, environmental policy, and data-based modelling to develop frameworks for climate-resilient urban ecosystems. In collaboration with environmental agencies, research institutions, and civic bodies, CUBEC has advanced sustainable urban ecosystem management, community biodiversity initiatives, and climate vulnerability assessments that contribute to India's climate action strategies.
